Pixelated Billy Buffet

Billy Buffet was a character created for Cicis to promote the Unlimited Pizza Buffet Campaign. A parody of “As Seen on TV” commercials, this campaign had flashy and over-the-top graphics that would appear on the screen and an exaggeratedly enthusiastic salesman. For National Video Games Day, we created a video to promote the campaign and took inspiration form arcade fighting games. One of the main lines from Billy was “Boring cold pizza in a box? Not on my watch!” So that was the main subject of the 16-bit animation.
